iPhone 6 release date possibly set for Q1 to Q2 2014?

The Cupertino-based tech titan is preparing new products to launch in 2014, as revealed Earlier this week by the Apple CEO, Tim Cook, during his presentation of the company's financial results for Q3 2013. This led many experts to speculate that the CEO is talking about iWatch and Apple HDTV. Aside from these new devices, rumors have also been rife about the iPhone 6 release date, the alleged next-generation smartphone of Apple.

It is most likely that the iPhone 6 release date will be set for next year and a number of reports are telling that it may be as high as 6 inches. According to InRumor, citing Wall Street Journal, "Apple was testing diagonal screens measuring 'from 4.8 inches to as high as 6 inches.'"

Channel Partners Online said that the 5-inch screen seems to be the most likely bet, citing a post from Japanese site, which was translated by BGR, suggesting that Apple has not come up yet with a final decision as to what will be the screen size of the iPhone 6.

As for a more specific iPhone 6 release date speculations, Glen Yeung from Citi, guessed that Apple fans may be able to see the new Apple smartphone as early as the first half of 2014.

Furthermore, another claim emerged which provided an even particular iPhone 6 release date. According to a Japanese publication called "Mac Fan 2013 December," iPhone 6 release date may be set for September 2014. It also suggested that the next Apple iOS smartphone may arrive with a 5-inch display screen with a resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels.

When it comes to pricing, Value Walk posted that the iPhone 6 may probably cost at around $650 at launch, and will be available for contract deals on Verizon, Sprint and AT&T for $199.
