Android 4.4 Kit Kat Update For Several Devices Expected Within The Next 90 Days, HTC, Motorola Already Announce Update On Their Devices

It's not even a week since the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 Kit Kat was announced, yet reports say the update will roll out in several devices in the next 90 days. In a list released by BGR, there are a number of devices which are set to receive the 4.4 update in the next several weeks or few months. 

Certainly, recent Nexus devices such as the Nexus 4, Nexus 7, and Nexus 10 will get the update in the 'coming weeks'. Meanwhile, Samsung's Galaxy S4 (Google Play Edition) will also get the update 'within 90 days'.

For HTC fans, the Taiwanese manufacturer has already announced that it will roll out the Android 4.4 update on its HTC One flagship in North America. Meanwhile, the unlocked developer version of the device will receive the update within 90 days. But for those who have purchased the Google Play edition, you can get the update via OTA within 15 days. 

Motorola also announced the upcoming update for several of its devices including the Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx, Droid Mini and the Moto X. However, no exact release date has been specified for the devices.
