Orlando Bloom And Miranda Kerr Split Is Tinseltown’s Most Mature Breakup: ‘Romeo And Juliet’ Actor To Love And Support Ex-Wife For The Rest Of Their Lives

As opposed to the drama-filled breakups of famous couples, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr prefer to make their separation as mature as possible. In an interview with talk show host Katie Couric, the 'Romeo and Juliet' actor reveals how he sees his life with his former girlfriend.

"We love each other. We're a family. We're going to be in each other's lives for the rest of our lives. There's no question that for the sake of our son and everything else, we're going to support one another and love each other as parents to Flynn."

The couple's romantic affair which started in 2007 resulted to a 2-year-old son. Despite their split, Bloom shows that there is no bad blood going on between him and Kerr by stepping out in public with his family. The couple is smiling as if nothing saddening took place.

While the 'Lord of the Rings' star remains mum about the real reason for the split, he confirms his determination to remain in good terms with the Victoria's Secret supermodel for the sake of their son:  "Life sometimes doesn't work out exactly as we plan or hope for. But we're adults. I'm 36 and now she's 30. We're professionals. We love and care about each other. Most of all, we love our son."
