Ryan Gosling And Eva Mendes Relationship Problems Caused By Rachel McAdams? ‘The Notebook’ Actor Still Exchanging Text Messages With His Former Sweetheart?

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling's relationship is currently on the rocks and it is allegedly because of jealousy fits being experienced by the actress.

Since 2011, both Mendes, 39, and Gosling, 32, appear to be smitten with each other. However, according to insiders, the two have contrasting personalities which oftentimes trigger fights. It does not help as well that 'We Own the Night' actress has the tendency to be suspicious and insecure with girls surrounding her beau.

One source confirms that even a lone text message can spark fight between the two celebrities who star in 'The Place Beyond the Pines': "She sees a text from a mystery number and assumes he's talking to girls." 

The two are currently apart because of their work commitments. Gosling is in Iceland for the film 'How to Catch a Monster' wherein he is able to exhibit his directorial skills. While Gosling is far from being a man who parties all-night with girls, reports are circulating that the actor is still very close with his 'The Notebook' co-star and ex-girlfriend Rachel McAdams.

The Canadian actor once stated in an interview with GQ magazine that McAdams was his "greatest love" and that their relationship which took place from 2005 to 2007 was far more romantic than the ones seen in films.

While the representative of Mendes denies the claims that the couple is having difficulties, one friend says that they will not be surprised if they will announce their split soon.
