GTA 5 PC Release Date News: 375,000 Signatures Left For Release? Online Petition Surpasses 600,000 Mark

An online petition asking for release of Grand Theft Auto 5 PC version has surpassed over 600,000 signatures, leaving many gamers wondering if Rockstar Games will release more information once it has passed the one million mark.

The Change.org petition was created earlier this year when it was announced that Grand Theft Auto 5 would be released for next-generation consoles Playstation 4 and Xbox One.

Rockstar Games has not released an official release date for the game's computer version, which has amassed a large following of gamers yearning the release of PC graphics.

While Hewlett-Packard released a short message regarding the PC release date of Grand Theft Auto 5, pointing to an end-of-month release for the version, the game is expected to be released at the beginning of next year.

"Get ready to own your friends in Grand Theft Auto in October with the HP ENVY Phoenix 810," Hewlett-Packard wrote in a public message to customers, giving many the impression it would be released by Halloween.

Last week, it was rumored that Grand Theft Auto 5's PC release was delayed by the cancellation of the game's Halloween mod.

"Some of the previous GTA mods have seen Jack O' Lanterns being put up in certain areas of the game, a Halloween house, and also a Michael Myers mod. It is such a shame because we would have loved to have seen what modders would have come up with," writes Product-Reviews.net.

"That is not to say that GTA 5 players cannot get in on the Halloween action, as there are several ways to celebrate the spooky day. First up, you could create yourself a Halloween Pumpkin Emblem, which you can see how in the video below."
