Wii Mini release date for the US has already been set.
Nintendo recently announced that Wii Mini release date in North America will be set just in time for the holiday season. Accordingly, Wii Mini release date is slated for November 17 and the package will arrive with Mario Kart Wii game, which is one of the most popular Wii games available. Also, starting on Wii Mini release date on the 17th, games will be able to get the console for $99.99.
According to Scott Moffitt, the executive marketing VP for Nintendo in America, "Wii mini offers the same fun experience as Wii, which has been enjoyed by millions of people around the world.
As posted on The Epoch Times, that aside from the Mario Kart Wii and the console itself, the Wii Mini box will also include, a Wii controller and a Nunchuk controller.
Moffitt further said, "And it comes packaged with Mario Kart Wii, a multiplayer Mario racing game that is one of the best-selling Wii games. At such a great price, it is an extraordinary value for shoppers this holiday season."
According to Las Vegas Guardian Express, The Wii Mini is an "excellent, inexpensive alternative to the bigger consoles, in addition the price of the games are less as well."
Games such as "Super Mario Paper Mario" and "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" are both available for $19.95 each. Meanwhile, for only $29.95 each, customers will be able to avail "Wii Sports Resorts" and "Super Mario Galaxy 2."
Compared to the regular Wii console, the Mini is missing some features like the ability to play Gamecube games. Also, Wii Mini cannot connect to the internet. Furthermore, as Siliconera posted, "...the Wii Mini isn't capable of 480p video output or using SD cards."
