Nexus 8 Tablet Image Leaked, Boasts 8" Display, Thin Bezels And On-Screen Buttons, Resembles LG's Latest Slate

Google's Nexus devices are some of the most-anticipated products in the market today, not only due to their design and high-end specs, but also the cheaper price tag. The Nexus 5 proved to be a stunner when it immediately run out of stock minutes after it was announced online. For Google and Android fans who want more screen estate, the Nexus 8 tablet would be the perfect device.

According to a report by BGR, Google posted a promotional image on its website that is rumored to showcase the upcoming Nexus 8 slate. The photo was then uploaded to a forum where Ars Technica took notice, pointing out to the much thinner bezels, on-screen buttons, and the 8-inch display.

The rumored Nexus 8 also appears to resemble LG's latest 8.3-inch slate, which could confirm that Google has tapped the Korean manufacturer to work with the Nexus slate as well. The Nexus 5 was also developed by LG, placing similar specs to the recently launched LG G2.

Google has yet to make any confirmations about the alleged 8-inch tablet so we better take this rumor with a pinch of salt.
