Lady Gaga Still In Pain After Losing Her ‘Little Angel’; ‘Applause’ Singer Steps Out Of Her Hotel Clad In Black

Lady Gaga recently stepped out of a hotel in London looking somber because of the death of her beloved dog, Alice. Far from her grandiose outfits, the 27-year-old songstress wore an all-black ensemble as a symbol of mourning for her dog's death.

The dog passed away last Tuesday in the singer's New York home. On her Twitter page, the 'Born This Way' hit maker expressed her sadness for her furry friend's fate: "My puppy Alice died. We had put her down, cancer ate away at a little angel." She added that her family, the Germanottas, did not lose an animal but a member.

While Lady Gaga fully embraces the perks that come with being a highly-acclaimed performer, she likewise recognizes how painful and difficult it is to be away from home.  Alice lived for 17 years, that's why Lady Gaga had lots of memories with her. She emphasized that despite seemingly having it all, nothing will still surpass the presence of your family.

In one of her tweets, she indirectly expressed her remorse for not being there for Alice when she was struggling: "I remember her laying my bed, she knew when I was sad, or when I was sick. I should have been there. I just pray Alice found her wonderland."

Apart from her all-black outfit, she likewise donned a large textured hat which was quite difficult to balance.  She made use of a mask to conceal her eyes.

The songstress is presently in London for 'ARTPOP' which will be released in November 11.
