iPad 13-Inch Tablet Rumored To Be Launched March 2014, Allegedly Undergoing UI Prototype Debugging And Testing At Foxconn

Last month, the tech world witnessed how Apple unleashed its two well-loved slates, the iPad Air (iPad 5), and the iPad mini 2 (Retina mini). However, just two weeks later, reports of a larger iPad currently under development have already hit the rumor mill.

According to a rumor by PadNews, a larger iPad which features 12.9 inches of screen estate is allegedly under testing at Foxconn. In addition, the larger slate is allegedly undergoing UI prototype debugging, and may be launched in March 2014.

Dubbed as the 'iPad maxi', the rumored slate would possibly go up against the bigger Android tablets in the market, including the upcoming Galaxy Note 12 which could debut at the Consumers Electronics Show (CES) in January.

Meanwhile, BGR reports that other analysts are expecting a smaller 11.4-inch screen.

Knowing Apple, the company would most likely keep its mouth shut until a week before the supposed launch. In case the rumor is true, this would be the first time that the Cupertino manufacturer is releasing a brand new device in less than 6 months.
