Elder Scrolls Online Release Date: 24 Hairstyle Choices Per Gender? Developers Release Information About Character Customization During Interview

Elder Scrolls Online developers answered several questions about the upcoming game, revealing that users will be able to utilize up to 24 hairstyle choices per gender, according to MMosite.com.

"There are currently 24 hairstyle choices per gender in the character creation system. Some of these choices are shared between races, but each race has some unique hairstyle options," the website writes.

"Hair color and eye color are also specific to each race and align with established lore. For example, Wood Elves have an option for black eyes that is not available to any other race."

Elder Scrolls Online will also include a feature allowing every race to have certain unique customization options in addition to sharing certain options with other races, according to Joystiq.com.

The newly produced game, which does not yet have an official release date, has captured the attention of gamers around the world for its capabilities and functions.

ZeniMax Online Studios and its sister firm Bethesda Softworks are testing out new tools in the game's character-building engine, allowing gamers to tweak their player's physical traits, VentureBeat.com reports.

Users will be able to adjust leg size, foot size, height, hip size, gut size and several other dimensions.

Elder Scrolls Online's blog also revealed more information about the Werewolves of Tamriel, bringing more attention to the lycnathropy within the game.

"Feared throughout Tamriel, werewolves surrender to their primal nature, roaming the wilds in pursuit of prey. Confrontations with these lycanthropes are dangerous; they can spread the disease Sanies Lupinus, which turns the infected into one of the bloodthirsty pack if left untreated," the Elder Scrolls Online blog writes.

"Werewolves are strongly associated with the Daedric Prince Hircine. It is said that he lays claim to their souls, eternally leading them on wild courses through the Hunting Grounds, his Oblivion realm."
