Upcoming Android Tablets 2013: Verizon Ellipsis 7 Now Official, Boasts Quad-Core CPU, 4,000mAh Battery, Available For Just $249

If you are looking for upcoming Android tablets 2013 but you are on a tight budget, you may want to check out Verizon's new slate.

The Verizon Ellipsis 7 which was just announced earlier today, sports a 7-inch 720p IPS LCD display, matching that of the upcoming Nexus 7.

In addition, the slate also boasts a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2Ghz, 8GB of internal memory and microSD support. 

Other notable details include a hefty 4,000mAh battery for heavy usage and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. 

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Verizon Ellipsis 7 is available at only $249 off-contract, and an even cheaper $149 on a two-year contract.
