iPhone 5s Features A Not-So-Good Battery, Falls Behind Android Competitors, Study Shows

Released early in September, the iPhone 5s features lots of impressive though overrated specs. Still, it remains as one of the top smartphones in the world. However, when it comes to battery life, a test shows that Apple's contender comes nowhere near top Droids from Samsung and HTC.

According to Which? Tech Daily, the iPhone 5s performed below average in battery life during calls (651 mins.) and worse when it comes to Internet browsing (298 mins.).

Meanwhile, in both tests, Samsung's Galaxy S4 topped the rankings with 1,051 minutes of battery life when making calls, and 405 minutes during Internet surfing. The HTC One came in second in calls with 771 minutes while it performed dimly in Internet usage with just 339 minutes.

The two minis, the Galaxy S4 and One minis held their own in calls, and performed better than most of the candidates when it comes to Web browsing.

The iPhone 5c, which has internals similar to that of the iPhone 5, performed the worst in the test. It logged in just 564 minutes during calls, and 252 minutes during Web usage.
