NBA Player News: Milwaukee Bucks’ Larry Sanders Under Investigation For Bar Fight, Missed Wednesday’s Game

NBA Player News: Larry Sanders of the Milwaukee Bucks missed last Wednesday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers after injuring his right thumb after reportedly had a bar fight last Saturday in a local club in Milwaukee.

“We are aware of an incident from Saturday evening,” told by the team in one statement. “The matter is under investigation and Larry Sanders is cooperating fully. At this time we will have no further comment.”

Milwaukee sports radio station 1250 WSSP reported the incident in their Twitter account.

The center missed the team’s Tuesday practice due to his swollen thumb. The Bucks defeated the Cavs 109-104 led by OJ Mayo and Gary Neal.

Mayo helped the team win by scoring 28 points and three assists. Neal on the other hand scored 23 points and gathered four assists.

Larry Sanders expressed his frustration to NBA.com about his limited minutes due to his foul trouble problem and his lessened role with their coach.

"I feel like I'm capable of being in the game at the end and helping my team win, coming up with blocks and rebounds. I haven’t been able to get my rhythm out there," he said.

“Last year I finished so many games. I feel like that’s when I lock in the most. But I haven’t been able to get in the game to finish. That carries over to the next game. When you sit the last three quarters of each game, I can’t have no carryover. And it’s hard for me. I’m still a young player. It’s only my eighth year playing basketball,” the player added.
