Pokemon X And Y: First Look At Shiny Mega Gardevoir And Arceus With Pixie Plate!

Pokemon X and Y have been released, and some interesting images have surfaced showcasing a new shiny Mega Pokemon and a very elusive legendary.

The first image shows an anonymous player showcasing a shiny Mega Gardevoir. Given all the rage surrounding finding shiny Pokemon, this one is quite a show because it looks so different from the original form.

"She's dressed for your funeral I see," writes TCMets on Pokejungle.

"She's spending WAY too much time with Gothitelle I see," adds Fabian.

Given that finding shiny Pokemon in Pokemon X and Y is still relatively rare, finding the correct Pokemon which has a Mega Evolution is even harder. Thus, Pokemon fans everywhere consider having a shiny Mega Evolution the grand prize of shinies.

Whoever this is, well done.

The second image, however, comes with a bit more confusion and controversy.

As fans may know, the legendary Pokemon Arceus can change its type depending on the plate it is equipped with, and it seems someone has been able to encounter an Arceus and showcase it with the Pixie Plate.

Given that the Fairy type is brand new to Pokemon X and Y, this would be a completely new form and look for Arceus. Notice the slightly pink hue.

What is causing the confusion, however, is how the player managed to find Arceus, as right now, it is unattainable in the game.

According to BlisteredThumbs, this Arceus image is captured by the "Elite Hacker Smealum," who is also responsible for uncovering the purported three new legendary Pokemon and the Latias, Latios Mega Evolutions. Needless to say, Arceus is most likely also a result of hacking Pokemon X and Y.

Will Arceus ever be made available to the rest of the world in X and Y? Only time will tell.
