In 'New Girl' Season 3 Episode 7, Coach reappeared in the apartment after a riotous breakup with his girlfriend. Fans of his character will be delighted to know because of ABC's confirmation that he will be staying for the rest of the third season.

While Damon Wayans Jr. did not sign anything to be a regular cast of the comedy show, producers affirm that he will continue to be a special guest star in the loft.

In the upcoming episode of 'New Girl' Season 3 entitled 'Menus', Coach will officially take the responsibility of fixing Nick. He aspires to train Nick in order for him to be in shape. The perfectionist Schmidt even expresses his interest to help Coach in his mission.

Coach, Jess, and Nick will be ordering Chinese food and because of such transaction, their apartment's front door is suddenly filled with menus. Jess investigates about the person leaving the menus. In the end, she and Winston go to the restaurant owner in order to come up with a resolution for the inconvenience brought by the overabundance of "waste" in their front door.

Winston will likewise hurt his ankle prompting Schmidt to help him. Apart from the usual loft scenes, Nick will assist Jess in taking her students on a beach field trip. The students will then end up burying poor Winston in the sand.
