Jennifer Aniston Says Goodbye To Her Stunning Locks; ‘Rumor Has It’ Actress Vows Not To Undergo Brazilian Blowdry Again

Jennifer Aniston is famed for her stunning blonde locks. However, the actress had no choice but to chop her hair short after a disastrous hair straightening treatment known as "Brazilian Blowdry".

The popular hair treatment involves chemicals including formaldehyde and keratin which keep the hair straight. The treatment has garnered raves not just from ordinary people but also from Hollywood celebrities like UmaThurman and the Olsen twins.

Such treatment promises to make hair sleeker and shinier but hairstylists warn that only people with strong hair should undergo the special blowdry.

The 'We're the Millers' star apparently had an unpleasant experience forcing her to simply cut her treasured locks rather than deal with the aftermath of a damaging treatment.

"Not all Brazilian treatments are created equal; many have chemicals which can eventually damage hair so I'm not surprised Jen's doing the chop. I personally have naturally bushy hair and had the treatment done one summer but I found it left my bouncy locks a little flat," says celebrity hair stylist Rachel Woods.

In an interview with Elle UK, the ex-wife of Brad Pitt confirms the reason why she suddenly donned a short hairstyle:  "It wasn't for a role. My hair went through a phase, I did this thing called a Brazilian and my hair did not react really well to it."

Close sources also add that the actress promises to stay away from the treatment. In her many years of being in the industry, this is reportedly the first time her hair suffered from a procedure.
