The release date for the Happy Wheels iOS app has not yet been specified but new details about the game has been revealed through Fancy Force's Twitter posts.

A Twitter user asked about Apple devices that the Happy Wheels iOS app will be compatible with. Fancy Force, the company which brought Happy Wheels and Divine Intervention answered the question saying that the iOS app should be compatible with Retina devices, as well as the iPad Mini. The company said that it should be available for 4th-generation iOS devices, hoping that the iPhone 4S is the recommended minimum requirement to install and play the game.

Furthermore, Happy Wheels fans are already expecting a new update, which according to the developer will bring a new character. Fancy Force also shared information about the Happy Wheels, which is posted below:

There is also a blog posted two weeks ago on the official site of Happy Wheels, which is TotalJerkFace.com. The post reveals more about the new character for Happy Wheels. A portion of the blog reads,

"I've started work on a new character for Happy Wheels. With my time spent on the sequel, it's now been over a year since my last update to the game. I'm feeling guilty so I figure I should really go back and add some things. I think the new character will add some fun, stupid gameplay types. The character art is already done. Hopefully it will be finished in a couple of weeks. Next week I'll be recording some vocals for the new character and future/older characters. Along with the character I might try to update a few other little things."

Also, the post also revealed updates about the Happy Wheels iOS app as well as the Android, stating,

"Once the new update is finished I will probably try to help Jason wrap up the iPhone version so we can finally have something ready to release. I'm looking to port it to Android as soon as we have something more complete, so if you are a talented Android programmer in the New York area, or know of one, do let us know."
