Samsung Galaxy S3 Update: Availability Of Android 4.3 For Device Becomes Available In More Regions, U.S. Carriers Expected To Make It Available Late November

Samsung Galaxy S3 update: The highly-anticipated Android 4.3 update for Samsung Galaxy S3 is coming to more regional markets all over the world. News first broke from Ireland that Vodafone users with a variant of the Samsung Galaxy S3 is receiving the Android 4.3 update. U.S. carriers are expected to have it available by late November.

According to Phones Review U.K., a number of new countries has been added to the list of places where the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will become available for S3 users. These include Greece, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Austria and Romania.

The new firmware brings with it a number of new features that wasn’t available in Android 4.2.2. This includes some features that was initially available only in the Samsung Galaxy S4 such as enhanced UI and a new S-voice feature. There is also a new Samsung keyboard and the ability to transfer content to the SD card.

The update is not reported to being pushed, but it’s availability can be checked by going through the S3’s About --> Software update --> Check for updates.

SamMobile lists below some key updates that were made in the new Android 4.3 once it’s installed on the Samsung Galaxy S3. It is important to note that Samsung Galaxy Gear can now become a companion for the S3 once it is installed.
