The 4-11-2 Oilers have lost six of their past seven and look to snap out of this funk vs the Flyers, who have lost four of their last five games. Philly is not off to a good start overall as well as because it is 4-10-1 this season. Watch the free live stream online as they two look to get out of their funk with a big win.

Three of the four Oilers vicotries have actually come on the road while the Flyers are 2-7 at home.

Though it has been a struggle overall for the Oilers, head coach, Dallas Eakins, has been impressed with some of the youngsters. Taylor Fedun has two goals in as many games as he has played in the NHL. Taylor Hall scored a goal after missing seven games with a knee injury.

"Boy, it's a crazy game," Eakins said. "There's been games this season where you've won the game and maybe you didn't think you deserved it, and you're upset with your play. And there's been games that we've lost where we've been disgusted with ourselves as a group. And then tonight, it's one of those nights where ... I loved the way we played. And I thought we played with passion and we competed hard."

Flyers captain Claude Giroux walked out of practice before meeting with the media following a players-only meeting.

"I was frustrated," Giroux told reporters. "At myself and how we're playing."

Giroux said the key to pulling out of the slide is to get back to the basics of the game. Two seasons ago Giroux was third in the League with 93 points; this season he has seven points -- all assists -- in 15 games and his minus-11 rating is tied for the third-worst in the League. It has been 21 games dating back to last season that Giroux hasn't scored a goal.

"Just play hockey," he said. "It's the same story every day. Just got to enjoy the game. Obviously it's hard to enjoy the game when you're playing like we are playing right now, but we need to enjoy it a little bit more. We go to games, and obviously when you do one bad shift or one bad power play and the crowd starts booing you put a little more pressure and you want to do even more. And I think we need to just play the game."
