The Miami Heat is slightly struggling with injuries but still manages to be the team-to-beat this season. Today they will face a young and inexperienced Boston Celtics.
After Dwyane Wade suffered knee sores earlier in the season and in the preseason preventing him to sit out one game, LeBron James is now having troubles with his back.
With a bad back, LeBron still feels like playing saying he won't stop playing until it gets worse.
"I would probably have to not be able to get out of the bed," James said when asked what it would take for him to miss a game. "Can't get out of the bed, then can't show up here."
"I've had a history of it, but I always keep a good eye on it so I should be all right. It ain't a great feeling, I'll tell you that - especially at nighttime when you're trying to sleep," he added.
"I don't like to rest -- I've never been able to rest through anything," the MVP added regarding his back pains. "It's something I'm planning on continuing to play through. I'll do the exercises and the treatment to help it get better.
Boston on the other hand will try to prove the NBA that they can still compete after winning two straight games before losing four in the opening week.
The Celtics won a nail biter game in their game against Orlando last Friday.
"We talked before about making winning plays in winning time, and we did. That was neat," first-year coach Brad Stevens said Friday. "Overall, I'm very pleased with the result but we still have a lot to work on. We're not that much different than if we wouldn't have won the game."
