LG G 2 Review, Specs: Android Powered Handset With All-Plastic Design & 5.2-Inch Display Maybe The Best Phone In The Market For 2013

LG G 2 review, specs: The very own Android powered handset by Google partner, LG, noted for manufacturing the Nexus 5, has done an impressive job in producing a flagship of its own. According to a review by Know Your Mobile, the LG G 2 is thin enough to fit into your pocket and the all-plastic design gives you a premium feel. Many are hailing the LG G 2 as the best phone in the market this year.

The 5.2-inch device has a display dominated by the touchscreen and has a Micro-SIM card tray which is one of the few access points for the unit. In what is a seemingly unconventional placement of the buttons as the power and volume controls are located at the back of the device. It’s theorized that our fingers naturally come to rest in this position when we’re using the phone.

The LG G2 aside from it’s great display and cool design is very powerful, having a quad-core 2.26GHz CPU chipset with 2GB of RAM. In tests done by Know Your Mobile, the device doesn’t stumble during intense tasks and has the ability to run two apps side to side with the phone’s QSlide functionality.

Storage for the device comes at 16GB and 32GB. It has a Bluetooth 4.0 Wi-Fi and NFC, which allows for contactless data transfers. It comes with 4G LTE speed. As for its OS, it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and it’s possible that the LG G2 will be a recipient of either the Android 4.3 or Android 4.4 KitKat, though rumors and reports on the potential upgrade is nowhere to be found at the moment.

Like in most devices, the camera could be a deal breaker and it’s good news that the LG G2 has a 13MP camera with auto-shot and HDR capabilities. Know Your Mobile noted that the LG G2 is able to pick up detail and color with great accuracy and performs well enough in dimly lit locations.
