Weeks ahead of Super Mario 3D World release date, Nintendo of America unveiled the very first tv commercial for the upcoming Wii U game. As posted on CVG, the commercial concentrated on the multiplayer facet of the game. Super Mario 3D world features similar characters found inn Super Mario Bros 2 namely, Mario, Luigi, Toad and Peach. These four famous Super Mario characters are available for "simultaneous four-player action."

Super Mario 3D World also combines the features offered on the original Super Mario Brothers game. As posted on Digital Journal, the forthcoming net Mario game "plays like the Super Nintendo (SNES) game Super Mario World but in 3D."
