Jared Harris Of Mad Men Marries His Girlfriend Allegra Riggio In A Yacht In Miami – ‘We Just Wanted To Do Everything Together’ Says The Bride

Mad Men actor Jared Harris who plays the role of Lane Pryce on the AMC drama tied the knot with his fiancée Allegra Riggio as reported by US Weekly.

Harris, 51, proposed to Riggio, 38, last June with a custom made ring by Erica Courtney that features a heart-shaped diamond in rose gold setting. Riggio works as a TV host and owns a lighting design company as well.

The "Mad Men" actor is the son of the late Richard Harris and was married previously to actress Emlia Fox.

Harris left the show last year when his character decided to hang himself after Don Draper played by Jon Hamm instructed him to resign because of stealing from the company.

According to an article made by Us last month, Allegra Riggio exclusively revealed how she and Harris met and fell in love, saying,

"Jared and I met at Bar Lubitsch in April 2009," Riggio claims. "He was suffering through the final throes of a particularly nasty divorce, and I was at my lowest, most miserable moment. I had moved to L.A. for love, and it was not going as planned. That evening I was desperate for a laugh. Jared had the same thought, and we ended up making the same decision to peel ourselves off our respective couches to see a mutual friend visiting from NYC do stand-up."

"At the end of the show, all the people who had come out to support our comedian pal met up and continued having a laugh well into the night," as she continued. "Much champagne was enjoyed, friends were made, and that's when Jared and I met."

The two met each other again the following night when Riggio returned to the same bar. When she broke up with her boyfriend, she and Harris became close friends and eventually turned into lovers.

"We just wanted to do everything together," Riggio gushed. "Then, against all rhyme or reason and all the odds, our heavily damaged hearts began to heal. Laughter, as they say, truly is the best medicine. We fell in love and swore never to speak of marriage, as our last relationships ruined the thought of it."
