Emma Watson Reunites With J.K. Rowling For A Fundraising Event; ‘Harry Potter’ Actress Even Posted A Photo Which Garnered More Than 40 Thousand Retweets! [SEE PHOTO]

Last weekend, Emma Watson had an unannounced reunion with 'Harry Potter' author J.K. Rowling  for the Lumos Fundraising Event which took place at the Warner Bros. Studio in London, England.

Apart from Rowling, other characters from the magical series were likewise present including Alan Rickman known as Professor Severus Snape, Warwick Davis known as Professor Flitwick, and Evanna Lynch who played Luna Lovegood.

The fundraising event was organized for the welfare of children with disabilities. According to The Mirror, Rowling did not waste time in using her words to encourage  supporters for the advocacy: "Since setting up the charity eight years ago to help change the lives of so many children living unnecessarily in appalling institutions across the world, Lumos has already helped governments to take nearly 12,000 children out of these institutions. We have prevented the deaths of more than 400 extremely vulnerable children with disabilities, who were not receiving the care they needed in institutions. We have helped the EU change its rules on how it uses money to reform health, education and social services - and we are just beginning."

To end her statement, the British writer guaranteed that the funds that they have amassed for that night would directly proceed to projects for the children: "There is so much more we need to do to bring an end to the institutionalisation of children. The incredible support we have received tonight will directly go towards helping achieve all this."

While in the venue, Watson jokingly posted a photo of herself posing with a wax figurine of her highly-acclaimed character, Hermione Granger. She hinted that she could still play her geeky yet lovable character.  Her tweet was retweeted by more than forty thousand 'Harry Potter' fans.

While the story of 'The Boy Who Lived' is already finished, Rowling is currently working for a spin-off called 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'. The film is about the fictional book's author Newt Scamander which took place 70 years before Lord Voldemort and Harry Potter's existence.
