New Lenovo Laptops: Chinese PC Maker Announces Windows 8-Powered Ideapad Flex With Dual-Mode Function

As the world's top PC maker, Lenovo has been on a roll this year, releasing not only high end new Lenovo laptops but also smartphones and tablets. Another addition to its impressive lineup of laptops is the IdeaPad Flex.

Borrowing the name from its relatives, the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex is a laptop that can be used in two modes - the laptop and stand modes. Its keyboard can also be 'flexed' or flipped by up to 300 degrees.

In laptop mode, the IdeaPad Flex becomes a decent PC that can take on processing tasks and applications smoothly, thanks to its 4th generation Intel Core-13 processor.

Once the keyboard is moved to the back, the device can now stand on its own. In this type of position, the 10-point Multi-Touch display becomes of great importance. The computer's 3GB RAM definitely helps app transition and task completion.

Boasting an NVIDIA GeFore740M graphic card, the IdeaPad Flex is also capable of running high-end graphical applications and games. The 14" display packed with 1366x768 pixel resolution is also ideal for watching HD movies and videos.

In a report by GSM Arena, the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex will be available in Black with Silver Grey for $680.
