Nokia Lumia 1520 Release: New Phablet Is The Best Windows Phone To Date, Packs In Snapdragon 800, Wireless Charging And 20MP Camera

The Nokia Lumia 1520 release was several weeks ago at Nokia World in Abu Dhabi, and fans have been expecting the Finnish brand to 'save the best for last'. While recent rumors are certainly pointing to a release of several other devices later this year and early in 2014, one could not ignore the fact that they have created the best Windows Phone in the Lumia 1520.

In case you haven't heard, the Nokia Lumia 1520 boasts a large 6" screen with 1080p resolution. It also packs the most powerful chipset in the market today, Snapdragon 800 to complement 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory with option for 64GB expansion via microSD.

As the biggest and most powerful Windows Phone today, the Lumia 1520 also features a number of cool functions such as wireless charging, a 20-megapixel PureView shooter with Carl Zeiss optics, and a hefty but impossibly-thin 3,400mAh battery.

The guys at GSM Arena recently got their hands on the device and uploaded a quick hands-on video to give you an idea how the Nokia Lumia 1520 works in real-life situations.

With all the phablet's features and specifications, would it be able to go up against huge Droids such as the HTC One max, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Xperia Z1 Ultra?
