13-inch iPad: World’s Largest Consumer Tablet By Apple To Be Launched March 2014, Co.‘s China-based Manufacturer Rumored To Be Putting Finishing Touches On Device

13-inch iPad: Apple has been rumored to be releasing a 13-inch iPad even before the release of the iPad Air and the iPad Mini with Retina Display, and a credible source is citing that the company’s manufacturer of choice for it’s tablets is in the final stages of developing what could be the world’s largest consumer tablet.
Nasdaq.com talks of the Chinese tablet news site dubbed Padnews to have confirmed that Foxconn are putting in the final touches to this large-format iPad. The chinese manufacturing partner of Apple is targeting a deadline of March 2014 for all devices to be packaged and on shelves. Nasdaq.com reports that the iPad will have a massive screen of minimum 12.9 inches but other web sources speak of 11.4”. The newest tablet from Apple, the 9.7” screened iPad air has already received very good responses from reviewers and users alike.

For months and months the rumors have been online about Apple dropping a massive screened apple device. According to Nasdaq.com, many journalists are calling it the “iPad Maxi”. A few months ago the Wall Street Journal said its confirmed sources reported that we should expect slightly less than 13 inches diagonal length of screen.

Later in September, the United Daily News which is a Chinese publication more than hinted that Apple was bringing us a 12 inch iPad that would cause waves. It would be a feat achieved working hand in hand with Taiwan based Quanta Computer who are still getting accolades for manufacturing todays MacBook Air. Nasdaq.com however tries to steer clear of internet rumors and does admit that Apple is really on track with their product launches. In September they graced us with the iOS7, new iPhones and the almighty print identification. Yet again in October they hit us with the iPad air and stunning Mavericks OS.

The only competitor Apple is looking at now is Samsung with their 10.1 inch tablet, the Galaxy Note 10.1. Sony has a larger tab that runs Windows 8 and a lovely 11.6” screen. This however does come with a corresponding heavy price tag of $1,000.

In a nutshell, the iPad 13 inch screen is destined to be a hit that we as consumers just have to get our hands on.
