Fifty Shades Of Grey Movie Casting Update: Jennifer Ehle The First Cast Who Spoke About Jamie Dornan In The Film – ‘I Think Jamie Will Be Amazing As Christian Grey,’ The Actress Says

Everybody loves Jamie Dornan including his co-star Jennifer Ehle. While Fifty Shade of Grey Movie casting experienced some drama and shake-ups that caused the delay of its production, Jennifer Ehle who will play the role of Anastasia Steele's mother, Carla May Wilks finds time to talk about his co-actor in the film.

Dornan will be playing the role of Christian Grey in the movie, a sadomasochist tycoon. Charlie Hunnam was originally cast to portray the role until he dropped out from the film, which paved way to speculations and unending questions if the Irish hunk would be able to satisfy the fans desire.

Well according to 43-year-old "Zero Dark Thirty" actress, who talked about Jamie during the BAFTA Los Angeles Jaguar Britannia Awards on Saturday, he will.

"I didn't follow any of the drama," Ehle revealed to E! News. "But I think Jamie will be amazing."

Ehle admits that she was not familiar with the "mommy porn" novel since she was not able to read the best-selling novel by E.L. James before she landed the role of Anastasia Steele's mom.

"It's extraordinary," said the actress. "I'm excited. I feel kind of like a tourist ... I'm along for the ride, as it were."

The "Pride and Prejudice" actress answers a question regarding the films X-rated scenes, where allegedly the audition script used "graphic sexual language" for the film.

"[Since it's] a visual medium, it's hard to tell from a script what something's going to be like," Ehle explains.

Following the drama on the casting and all the delay in the production, Fifty Shades of Grey movie seemed to have cast the major roles in the film already. Victor Rasuk was the newest addition on the team, where he was cast to play the role of Ana's photographer friend who had fallen in love with her. Prior to Rasuk, Luke Grimes find its place on the film as Christian's brother Elliot who has a thing on Ana's best friend Kate, who remains to be filled for the film. Oh and of course, Christian's ex-lover, Elena "Mrs. Robinson" Lincoln has yet to be cast as well, who was rumored to be played by Katie Holmes.

Despite the delay in production, Fifty Shades of Grey movie is still set for release on Aug. 1, 2014.
