‘The Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ Cast: Elizabeth Olsen ‘Excited’ To Work With Aaron Taylor-Johnson As Twins Scarlet Witch And Quicksilver

Elizabeth Olsen confirmed she has joined the cast of "The Avengers: Age Of Ultron" as The Scarlet Witch, according to MTV News. Elizabeth Olsen is excited to work with her former co-star Aaron Taylor-Johnson again on "The Avengers: Age Of Ultron."

It was speculated that Elizabeth Olsen, 24, was part of the cast of "The Avengers: Age Of Ultron," when Samuel L. Jackson seemed to confirm Olsen's role as Wanda Maximoff, aka The Scarlet Witch, in an October interview with The Wall Street Journal, TV Guide reports.

Now, Elizabeth Olsen has confirmed with MTV News that she will be playing Scarlet Witch, Magneto's daughter, in "The Avengers" sequel.

She will star alongside her "Godzilla" co-star Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who is cast as her twin brother, Quicksilver. Olsen couldn't contain her excitement when she discussed working with Aaron Taylor-Johnson again.

"We get to play husband and wife, and we get to play twin brother and sister," Elizabeth said. "It's also fun because even though in 'Godzilla' we play husband and wife, we don't have a lot of scenes together. I just love him. I love his family. I love his kids. I'm so excited... to actually work with each other. I think it's going to be fun."

Olsen also couldn't wait to work with "The Avengers" director Joss Whedon.

"He's very smart. He's too smart. He might be too smart," she said. "Some people are too smart for their own good, but he's amazing."

According to MTV News, Olsen joked that Samuel L. Jackson had taken the pressure off of her from talking about "Age of Ultron" by confirming her role. She also revealed that she doesn't know too much about the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" movie yet, MTV News reports.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" opens in theaters on May 1, 2015. Production is expected to begin in March 2014, ComingSoon.net reports.
