NBA Highlights[VIDEO] – Serge Ibaka And Matt Barnes Ejected; Clipper Enforcer ‘Tired Of Standing Up For His Teammates’

The physical game between the LA Clippers and the Oklahoma City Thunder resulted in the ejection of Matt Barnes and Serge Ibaka after their skirmish.

Upon his ejection, Barnes picked up his son who was in the audience. He proceeded to the locker room. What was more interesting is what Barnes said after he was ejected.

He used his Twitter account to vent. The tweet was deleted but USA Today managed to keep a screen capture.

"I love my teammates like family, but I'm DONE standing up for these --! All this s- does is cost me money."

It is interesting what the censored word was. (UPDATE: It's the 'N' Word) Many times, the Los Angeles Clippers have called out the hard fouls other big men commit on their main man, Blake Griffin. In this play, it was Ibaka and Griffin who got entangled, but Barnes quickly reacted and shoved Ibaka to protect Griffin. Griffin remained unscathed in the play.

Matt Barnes was often known as an enforcer and sometimes a "bad boy." While he relishes the roles and plays it up with his pictures and tattoos, it does take its toll.

He has already called out the NBA for its double standard. Last season, Ibaka dealt Griffin a low blow. He was not suspended, just dealt a monetary fine.

These were his tweets on the incident:

"You can INTENTIONALLY grab or hit someone in the balls & not get suspended, but you push someone & get suspended. #ImConfused"

"Let me or Metta World Peace do that & I guarantee its a 5 game suspension .. I [love how] there are different rules, for different people!"

"So if I would have back handed Ibaka, I would have been the only one to get suspended right??????????????????????????"

The league seems to favor the "good boys" specifically those who do not openly criticize the officiating or the administration.
