Zac Efron Dating & Injuries? Despite Young Hollywood Hunk’s Broken Hand, Broken Jaw and Broken Relationship, Actor’s Latest Projects Keep Getting Buzz

Back in April there were a lot of questions about what had broken Zac Efron’s hand. DailyMail.co.uk reported that the 25-year-old actor was quoted saying that he has a titanium plate in his hand and a bunch of screws as well. Apparently, Zac Efron was busy filming a fight scene with his fellow actor pal Dave Franco for the upcoming movie, Townies. The actor made an appearance on Live with Kelly & Micheal in New York where it could be clearly seen that his hand was swollen and he was very careful or gentle with what he did. He explained to the concerned Kelly Ripa that he was not able to put a cast on it yet as he was still determined to do a few more set shots with the movie’s production team.

Since the doctors had diagnosed him as having a broken bone in the hand, the only other thing that they could do to let him finish the filming was to place a titanium plate in it with a number of screws. Daily Mail stated that the star thereafter eventually got a cast for the hand which those on the Los Angeles set of the same movie got to see. The cast was later taken down and heavy bandages took its place. According to Daily Mail, Zac and co-star Dave Franco however had no problems between them and it was all a stage fight accident. The two are still seen being friendly with each other on set.

The next story to come up just about 7 months after breaking his hand is the new broken jaw. The NY Daily News reported that Zac Efron broke his jaw after he slipped on a puddle and fell. They stated that E! News had confirmed that the accident occurred right at the entrance of his fabulous Los Angeles home last Sunday. The “High School Musical” star had to get his mouth wired shut as well as some stitches for his face. He is expected to make a full recovery but until then, NY Daily News states that he has had to postpone several promotional events for his next movie That Awkward Moment.

As for his broken relationship status, Daily Mail stated that the heart-throb actor has not had a serious relationship ever since he broke up with High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens who he went out with for 3 years.

Despite all this, Zac Efron’s project is getting buzz. His recent trailer for “That Awkward Moment” and “The Neighbors” has brought visible and positive expectations on what the young celebrity is doing.

“That Awkward Moment” will hit theaters January 31 with “The Neighbors” opening in May.
