Top Android Phones 2014: Galaxy Note 3 Killer Vivo Xplay 3S Packs Snapdragon 800, Adreno 330 With 550MHz, And 3GB RAM, To Be Launched Next Year

Even before 2013 comes to a close, some fans are already looking forward for the top Android phones in 2014. And if you are looking for an alternative brand apart, then Vivo's upcoming mega-phone may satisfy your gadget lust.

Dubbed as the Vivo Xplay 3S, the Android smartphone will feature powerful specs and an all-around functionality that greatly rivals Samsung's Galaxy Note 3.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Droid will boast a 5.5" QHD screen with 2,560x1,440 resolution which would surely provide top-notch graphics both for entertainment and gaming.

Inside the hood lies the powerful Snapdragon 800 with Adreno 330, which gets the 8974AB version with 540Mhz. This edition of the GPU is 100MHz faster than most Adreno 330 versions which only has 440MHz, including that of the Note 3.

The device will feature f/1.8 aperture for the camera though resolution has not been disclosed yet. The report also says the Vivo Xplay 3S will have a Hi-Fi audio chip and Bluetooth 3.0.

Finally, the Vivo smartphone will feature LTE connectivity in both the Chinese and international variants of the device.

Rumors are pointing towards a release early next year, but let's keep our fingers crossed that it would be sooner.
