George Zimmerman Arrested For Assault After Allegedly Pointing A Shotgun At Her Girlfriend – ‘You Put Your Gun In My Freaking Face,’ Scheibe Says

George Zimmerman arrested for assault following a disturbance call from a home in Apopka, Fla., approximately 15 miles away from Orlando, as stated by Chief Deputy Dennis Lemma of the Seminole County Sheriff's office.

He is now being detained without bail for charges on threatening his girlfriend with a shotgun.

Zimmerman, 30, was previously charged and acquitted of second-degree murder on July for shooting 17-year old Trayvon Martin.

Samantha Scheibe, Zimmerman's girlfriend called 911 later on Monday, telling the police that he smashed a glass table, broke her sunglasses and pointed a shotgun in her face.

Samantha Scheibe 911 call:

"You put your gun in my freaking face," Scheibe is heard telling Zimmerman on the call. "Get out of my house. Do not push me out of my house. Please get out of my house."

"He pushed me out of my house and locked me out. ... He knows how to do this. He knows how to play this game," she told the dispatcher seconds later.

Zimmerman made his own 911 call after police arrived on the scene:

"I have a girlfriend, who for lack of a better word, has gone crazy on me," Zimmerman claimed.

He rebutted Scheibe's accusation saying that he never pulled a gun at her and that Scheibe was the one who smashed the table. He also claimed that his girlfriend was pregnant with their baby and that she decided to raise that child alone, but when Zimmerman started to leave, "she got mad," he added.

"I just want everyone to know the truth," Zimmerman told the dispatcher when he was asked why didn't he just talk to the police officers outside of their home instead.

Although according to Lemma, the girlfriend denies being pregnant.

Lemma said that George Zimmerman has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault, battery, domestic violence and criminal mischief, in a news conference. He added that there were no injuries incurred during the incident.

"The victim indicated that she and George Zimmerman were having a verbal dispute and at that time she alleged that he had broken a table and pointed a long barrel shotgun at her," according to Lemma.

"She's shaken up over this incident," said Lemma of Scheibe.

George Zimmerman on Feb. 26, 2012, shot and killed Trayvon Martin, a 17-year old boy who was unarmed at the time of his death. Police officers had to look for Zimmerman for weeks before he got arrested. Zimmerman, who was in duty for his neighborhood watch claimed that he shot Martin in self-defense during an altercation.

George Zimmerman arrested for assault today, was acquitted of second-degree murder by six-person jury on July 13.
