Man of Steel 2, Batman Vs Superman – Robin Will Be In The Movie; Who Will Play Him? ‘Old’Batman Will Have ‘Bat-Drones’

The rumor mill continues on the super secret Man of Steel sequel. Batman Vs Superman will have Robin, whose real name is Dick Grayson.

From rumor specialist, Latino Review they emphasize that it is still just a rumor but it is from their 'source.'

"According to a very trusted source, the rumor is that Dick Grayson (aka Nightwing) is going to be in the movie. The reason I say rumor is that for the last couple of weeks I've been trying to get the scoop confirmed, but because of the ultra-secrecy surrounding the project, it's been almost impossible...I checked in with my agency sources and there is a breakdown out there, where the production is looking for a young, John Hawkes type. I'm not saying they're casting him in the movie. But they're looking for a younger version of him and there have been some names that have auditioned for this 'young John Hawkes' role, which I'm told is Dick Grayson."

Based on that rumor, there is no connection with this proposed Robin and Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character in "The Dark Knight Rises." Many speculations arose that it will be a bridge to developing a new Batman, if the 'tired and weary' Batman character that they floated around is to be believed.

Speaking of a tired and weary Batman, he might not be as active as he was--or as hands on. Perhaps taking a cue from Iron Man 3 or the US government, Batman will use drones to fight crime. It is unknown whether it is just to support him or to replace him entirely.

Prior to the confirmed rumor, there were already rumored rumors-and the role of Robin will employ younger, current actors. Not necessarily the Christian Grey rejects since the role requires a certain amount of athleticism. Candidates floated by WhatCulture are Lucas Till (Havok in X-men), Logan Lerman (The Perks of Being A Wallflower) and Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad.
