LG G2 Unlocked, Review: Android Flagship Of Google Partner A Better Device Than Samsung Galaxy S4; Pitted Against Performance, G2 Has An Edge [COMPARISON]

LG G2 unlocked, review: With a price tag difference of roughly between $100, the LG G2 is the cheaper Android handset. A quick scan at the price shows the LG G2 unlocked at $499.00, while the Samsung Galaxy S4 is hovering at $599.

According to one review, the pice is not the only plus that the new LG flagship delivers better than the Samsung Galaxy S4. In terms of screen specs and performance, it edges the Samsung competition.

Mashable, in their review, says that both the LG G2 and Samsung Galaxy S4 packs 2GB of RAM and for the same price, the LG G2 packs 32GB of storage against the 16GB that the Samsung Galaxy S4 has. The only downside for the LG G2 is its lack of microSD card expandability.

The LG G2 in a side-by-side test on tasks representing daily computer usage like web surfing and scrolling, checking email, watching videos and downloading apps and booting up, the G2 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor was more efficient than the S4. The result is expected since the Samsung Galaxy S4 only has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core 1.9GHz processor.

The tech site also said that while the Samsung Galaxy S4 is packed with it’s own specialized app and widgets, the LG G2 has added more useful everyday creature comforts like always-lit navigation keys, a camera from lock screen and a handy “call” button as part of a contact entry. The latter feature allows the user to just tap the green phone icon opposite a contact’s name to initiate a call.

If you’re looking for a phone that will deliver reliable performance on everyday functions, the LG G2 would be a better option than the S4.
