Orange Is The New Black Season 2 Spoilers: More Poussey And Lorna, Cast Member Speaks On Progress For Latinas Due To Netflix Hit!

"Orange is the New Black" is still filming for season 2, and spoilers have surfaced about the future of Poussey, Lorna, and Gloria.

According to TVLine, the role of Poussey (played by Samira Wiley) will be greatly expanded in season 2, including getting her very own origin episode.

"We'll get a whole episode about her backstory," says Wiley. "Lots of things about [that installment] are surprising, but in a good way."

According to spoilers, we will get a better sense of "her morals, her alliances and what her loyalty is like. [She'll] also have scenes with people she hasn't had scenes with before."

And another character who will see more screentime in "Orange is the New Black" season 2 is Lorna, played by Yael Stone.

"For all of the characters, there really is a flowering of detail. So that's a really exciting thing that's happening. We're learning a lot of little secrets and I think people will enjoy it," Stone tells TVGuide.

"There's definitely some facing of things. I don't know if it's reality. Sometimes reality is hard to define. Especially where Lorna's concerned."

Reportedly, spoilers confirm that Lorna will have more interactions with fan favorite Crazy Eyes, as well as others outside of her "tribe."

"I had my first scene one-on-one with Uzo and that was really lovely," Stone says. "Obviously the show is so racially divided that often you're like you stay with your gang. You don't get to do a lot of stuff. But as the season goes on we get to interact in different ways."

But one cast member who thinks the way "Orange is the New Black" deals with race is progress is Selenis Leyva, who portrays Gloria Mendoza.

"We are all portraying different types of Latinas -- [we're] different ages, we're Afro-Latinas, we're South American -- there's a little bit of everything. And I think that's very truthful to the world that we live in and we can be passionate and crazy and loud but we're also kind and smart and there's a little bit of everything," says Leyva to Huffington Post.

"It's a beautiful thing and I'm very, very proud to represent the Afro-Latina, we haven't really seen a lot of different types of Latinas in shows all at once. So this is all lovely."
