GTA 5 PC Release Date News: Available In A Few Months? Analysts Point To Release Of GTA 4 PC Version Months After Original Version As A Guideline

Rockstar Games has not announced a release date for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5, but gamers should still expect one since GTA 4 as also released on PC months after the game's original release, the Latin Post writes.

Earlier rumors suggest Grand Theft Auto 5 will be released within the first quarter of 2014, pointing to an beginning-of-year release.

Speculations also suggests computer mods for the game will be better than current Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.

"Mods on PS3 and Xbox 360 are possible, but not as flexible with mods as the PC is. For consoles people can't create things such as the crossbows, normal bows, zombies, driving etc. because they require new models and animations - these can't be done in current generation of consoles," Society and Religion writes.

"All you can really do with Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 is change some scripts and "make" new vehicles by just mixing current in-game models. "

Grand Theft Auto 5's PC version might be delayed as a marketing stunt, SocietyAndReligion.com reports, leaving many gamers wondering if it is being held back from launching to bring more attention to it.

"Video game manufacturers have been accused of causing the release date delays so as to build a greater expectation. It is believed to be a marketing stunt in which the product is only rumored to be coming for a season," the website writes.
