Brittanny Murphy's Death Case To Be Reopened Soon? New Evidence Suggests 'Clueless' Actress Was Murdered Using Rat Poison

In 2009, Brittanny Murphy's death because of acquired pneumonia and severe anemia surprised Tinseltown. At the age of 32, many wondered about the sudden passing away of the cheerful actress. While many accepted that it was a natural death, toxicology reports suggest that the 'Uptown Girls' actress has been poisoned.

The toxicology reports indicate that Murphy's body has a presence of barium, a toxic metal known to be used in rat poisons. Murphy's hair, blood, and tissues similarly showed positive for high levels of 10 toxic heavy metals. According to the reports, it is impossible to be "accidentally exposed" to such high levels of toxicity. The reports suggest that the toxic materials were intentionally given.

Murphy's husband, Simon Monjack, also died from the same cause five months later. Monjack's death further supports the reports' angle of murder.

"I am hopeful these new forensic revelations will compel the authorities to open a new investigation as a court of global public opinion awaits the truth as to who was responsible for their untimely deaths," says Murphy's father Angelo Bertolotti.

In 2011, Bertolotti sued the Los Angeles Police Department as well as his daughter's coroner for their alleged inaccurate and insufficient investigation. He eventually won the right to have his daughter's body analyzed by an independent company specifically The Carlson Co. It was The Carlson Co. which found out about the presence of poison in Murphy's system.

The case has been closed last May but Bertolotti hopes that it will be reopened soon on the basis of the latest findings. The aggrieved father publicized his determination to seek justice for his daughter.
