Van Damme Split, 22 Jump Street Movie: Channing Tatum Imitates Jean-Claude Van Damme Epic Volvo Commercial To Promote Movie '22 Jump Street', How Far Did His Split Go? [Video]

The 22 Jumpstreet movie seems to continue to entertain fans and movie lovers everywhere with their new stunt that involves two push carts and a split.

The 22 Jumpstreet crew led by actor Channing Tatum revealed a parody of the viral video of Jean Claude Van Damme Split in his latest Volvo commercial where he stood on the side mirrors of two Volvo trucks that slowly moved away from each other causing Van Damme to split and maintain his balance while his feet are still on the truck.

Channing Tatum who stars in the 22 Jumpstreet movie plays his character Jenko while demonstrating an attempt of a Van Damme split while standing on two push carts that are being pushed by two guys.

"I've had my ups and downs," he says in a voiceover, mimicking the copy in Van Damme split ad. "Being an undercover cop. That's what made me what I am today."

He continues while the pushcarts he’s standing on slowly separate from each other while being pushed by his 22 Jumpstreet movie crew.

"Surviving high school is no easy task," Channing Tatum says, voicing his character Jenko for the 22 Jumpstreet movie. "But because of this, my body is now engineered to defy the law of physics and a mindset to master the most epic of splits."

Just like in the Van Damme split Volvo commercial, Channing Tatum and the ad says that the video was to prove a stability and precision of the vehicles, but in this case the push carts.

"This test was set up to demonstrate the stability and precision of the food carts on the set of '22 Jump Street [movie]'"
