Manchester City will face off against rival Tottenham Hotspurs on Saturday, placing two of the English Premier League's closely followed teams against each other.

Manchester City, coming out of a 1-0 loss to Sunderland, is expected to be the favorite in the match.

Manchester City Manager Manuel Pellegrini said Joe Hart can benefit from being dropped, according to the Independent.

"I am absolutely sure that this will be an important thing for him to come back to his performances of the last two years," Pellegrini said, according to the website.

"I analyze what they do every week - I talk with them."

Tottenham Hotspurs, coming out of a 1-0 loss to Newcastle United, is expected to be the underdog in the match but is rumored to give Manchester City a good game.

Tottenham Hotspurs Manager André Villas-Boas said Jan Vertonghen must continue at left-back until Danny Rose is fit, according to The Mirror.

"I have had lots of conversations with Jan regarding this situation," Villas-Boas said, according to the website.

"Unfortunately he has to sacrifice his position as centre-back for the team. His position at centre-back is not in question."
