Park Jin-Young’s Harsh Criticisms scar contestants in K-Pop Star
On the February 26th episode of "K-Pop Star" the runner-up contestants were featured in a consolation round.
Park Jimin sang "Yeah" by Yolanda Adams and Lee Kun woo performed "High and dry" by Radiohead. It was a challenge for both of them.
Park Jin Young, however, was not lenient. To Park Jimin, he critiqued "Because you are so young, you have no stability. Your techniques have regressed back to the weird adultish ones that you had used previously."
BoA also regretted that "the performance was probably a bit overwhelming for a sixteen years old girl."
Park Jin Young moved onto critique Lee Kun Woo saying "Whenever you're about to make a significant, near-professional improvement, your basic skills and intonation just fall apart."
But Park Jimin managed to make it to the live auditions despite Lee Kun Woo and Oh Tae Suk's exit. Lee Kun Woo broke down and Oh Tae Suk also appeared to be at loss for words due to the disappointment.
