MLBAQ, "What are ninjas doing in K-pop?"

MBLAQ's new song and performance is caushing an issue.

Some fans have been saying that the outfits, stage lighting, dances, and the performances in the middle of the song are reminding them of a 'Japanese ninja'.

The issue has been rising up since their first performance of their new song 'Run' on KBS 2TV 'Music Bank' on the 2nd.

Their stage composed of 'sidekicks' and 'Ichiro Suezawa', where the five members are hiding behind a screen and then run out. The members and the back dancers are all wearing black outfits, and the back dancers are even wearing black masks. They portrayed a performance that resembled a ninja movie. Also, Lee Joon swung two knives in the middle of the song, adding onto the performance.

The performance was grand and amazing, but some fans are complaining that it is too Japanese-like.

Netizens commented, "I felt like I was watching a ninja movie", "It's a great performance, but I don't think it's okay to swing knives around or come out in complete ninja outfits in the middle of a program", "I'm a fan of MBLAQ, but this is too much."

Some other fans commented, "The agency said it's not ninja, but a Iljimae look", but MBLAQ revealed a few days ago in a radio program 'The new song will be a ninja concept'.
