Lee Jung Mi leaves K Pop Star ?!?
Netizens are showing extreme disapproval at the fact that Lee Jung Mi was picked to leave the show.
Many have commented "This is so disappointing" "She was such a good singer" "She was voted out?" "No one can accept that she has to leave" "I just can't understand what's happened".
On the March 4th episode of K Pop star, the live auditions were finally unveiled. The top 10 contestants sang a song from the 90s chosen under the theme "My Story."
After the performances, the contestants lined up to find out whether they would be able to get a ticket to the second live auditions. One by one, eight of them left the stage happily leaving only Kim Na Yoon and Lee Jung Mi. K Pop star decisions are based 60% on the judges' votes, 30% on SMS voting, and 10% on pre-performance voting.
Kim Na Yoon had placed last on the pre-performance vote whereas Lee Jung Mi had been 5th. The judges had awarded Kim Na Yoon 215 points and Lee Jung Mi with 241 points. The SMS voting results were not shown.
Park Jin Young said "although Lee Jung Mi had received quite a bit of points from the judges, the results of the SMS and pre-performance voting were too low. I'm sorry."
