KARA’s DVD-Blue Ray Ranks First in 2 Categories on Oricon Chart

Girl group KARA is the first foreign artist to rank first on Japanese Oricon Chart in 2 categories.

KARA’s DVD and Blue-ray disc ‘KARA Best Clip 2 and Show’ ranked first on Oricon DVD and Blue-ray disc Charts.

There are four Japanese singers who have ranked first on the charts including Amuro Namie, AKB48, Mr. Children and Radwimps.

‘KARA Best Clips, the first DVD released last year ranked first on DVD chart at that time. As a result both DVDs have taken first place on the Oricon chart.

The DVD includes KARA’s Japanese single ‘Jet Coaster Love’ music video that ranked first for the first time among their singles. It includes a video of KARA’s fan meeting held last August.

KARA is to start promoting their sixth Japanese single ‘Speed Up Girl’s Power’ this month.
