2NE1’s ‘I Am The Best’ Nominated 'Space Shower Music Video Awards'

The Space Shower TV nominated 2NE1’s ‘I Am The Best’ as part of 50 best works of 2011 have been selected as nominees.

2NE1 has won numerious awards including 'The Best New Band In The World' by MTV Iggy, 'New Artist' by Japan Record Awards. Also 'I Am The Best' has received 'Best Dance & Electronic Song' by Korean Music Awards and 'Song of the Year' by Mnet Asian Music Awards; all of them won last year.

'I Am The Best' music video originally released last Summer and has conintously gained attention that the total views of the music video reached over 35 million views on YouTube as of March 8.

The show will air on March 20 at 11PM JST. 2NE1 made an appearance on their program ‘Speech!’ during the ‘Go Away’ promotions and earlier this year to promote the YG Family Concerts.

Last year Girls’ Generation won ‘Best Pop Video’ of the year with ‘Genie’ and the year before that Big Bang won ‘Best Choreography Video’ of the year with ‘Gara Gar Go.’

This is great news for 2NE1 as they are working to relese their first Japanese album 'Collection' on March 28. Also will 2NE1 be performing at Spring Groove Festival, Japan's largest R&B festival along with Big Bang and others.
