JYJ Greeted by 400 Fans at Chile Airport

JYJ was welcomed by 400 fans as they arrived in Chile to hold their exclusive concerts as the first Korean singers in South America.

JYJ members have arrived at Aeropuesto Internacional Comodoro Arturo Merino Benitez at 4:20AM on March 8(local time) after a long delay of 40 hours to arrive in Chile from Korea as they layover in Los Angeles.

Although their arrival was delayed about a day still there were about 400 fans who have gathered to await their arrival.

A local fan Marcela Perez, 22 shared “I can’t believe I saw JYJ. I feel like I am will fly away. This is a miracle in my life. Although the concert is on March 9 we will start waiting from March 8 to get the best seat. I am willing to sleep outside.”

Chile’s leading daily newspaper ‘La Hora’ covered JYJ’s arrival in an article ‘JYJ Arrives Today to Chile, The Korean Pop Phenomenon.’ The article discusses about their amazing ticket power and at the same adds an interesting note as JYJ asked for a Chilean chef to cook traditional dishes for them to try the local cuisine.

JYJ exclusive concert is to take place at Teatro Caupolican in Santiago, Chile on March 9 and Explanada Sur del Estadio Monumental in Lima, Peru on March 11.
