JYJ Craze in Chile

A Chilean newspaper reported on the K Pop craze in Chile. 

As JYJ members arrived in Chile on March 8, Chilean Newspaper Las Ultimas Noticias posted a long article about the K-Pop craze.

Las Ulminas Noticias is one of the most prestigious newspaper in Chile with the largest number of subscribers. With the headline, "Crazy about Korean Group JYJ", the article reported JYJ's arrival in Chile with the photo of fans who gathered at the airport.

According to the article, "fans were exchanging information about whereabout of JYJ members, and the transportation of the members were delayed because of the fans gathered around the car to see the members." The reporter expressed surprise at the great interest of Chilean people towards K-Pop stars.

A media representative shared at the press conference held earlier that "K pop is now beginning to be known in Chile. It has mania, however gaining popularity among public is only in its beginning stage."
