The Best Part of ‘Voice of Korea’

It turns out that the best part of the show 'Voice of Korea' was the battle round between Woo Hyemi and Jung Soyeon.

Woo Hyemi, who was in Gil's team, sang "Regret" by SinChon Blues, receiving positive reviews about her unique vocal color. This is a song well known for its high technical difficulty.

This week's episode of the show revealed the first round of the battle auditions between the 48 live audition contestants. It felt quite different from the blind auditions, where the contestants were assessed solely on their vocal skills.

Jang Jae ho, Ji Sehee, Yoo Sungeun, Woo Hyemi, and four more were the first out of many to make it to the next rounds. Jang Jaeho sang Byul's duet "Hello" with Hwang Yerin.

Ji Sehee, who'd been coached by Kangta during the blind auditions, sang "The Barefoot Youth" and made it to the next round.  Yoo Sung Eun managed to put on a unique performance with the song "Smiling as You Had While Bidding Me Farewell".
