'K-Pop Star' Baek Ah Yeon "We Think You Could Win First Place" [Watch]

On the episode of 'K-Pop Star' that aired on Sunday, March 11 featured the second round of live auditions.

The mission for this episode was 'Million-Seller Hit Songs'. Contestant Baek Ah Yeon chose a song called ‘Do You Know’ by Korean singer Jo Sung Mo.

With her pure and elegant voice, Baek Ah Yeon blew away the judges by creating a beautiful performance. Judge Park Jin Young of JYP Entertainment was truly touched by her performance as his eyes watered as she sang.

Judge Yang Hyun Suk stated, "Last year the judges were talking about the possible winner of K-Pop Star and we thought you (Baek Ah Yeon) can actually win. Your voice is so smooth as if you rubbed oil on your throat. It's so pretty."

Park Jin Young also added, "You touched my heart when you began to sing and didn't let me go until the end. You are definitely one of the potential winners."

BoA stated, "I think out of all the contestants, you are the best at expressing the emotions of K-pop."

At the previous round of live auditions, Baek Ah Yeon provided a flawless performance by singing "Someday" and won second place.
