Then who is the average of idol? The average idol will be found based on date of birth. The target will be limited to male idols and weight was based on the individual profile.

According to the idol chart of male idol group average height was about 179cm. According to Korea study of the average height of Koreans in their 20s in 2010 was 174cm. The average idol is about 5cm taller. It seems that recently idol members have been selected from those who are tall as there are about 16 idols whose height is over 185cm. The tallest group X-5 member Zin is also 189 cm at age 20.

The average weight for idol group was only about 61kg. Idol average height is 179cm with average weight at around 73kg. Idol average is about 10kg less than that. There were about 16 idol members who weighed less than 55kg. Among them there were 11 idols that were younger than the idol average age of 23 years old.

The fact that taller and skinnier idols are increasing reflects on the public that wishes for younger than average, taller and thinner idols.

For university majority of the student seem to be attending Kyung Hee Cyber University. There are about 13 idols that have graduated or are attending Kyung Hee Cyber University. From the list 110 people that revealed their university which is a little more than 10%. For idols that must combine studies despite their busy school is the reason why idols prefer school that offers online courses.

G-Dragon of Big Bang made his debut through an album release of the Korean hip-hop Flex in 2001. He was only 14 at that time. Among the idols listed he is one of the youngest members who have appeared before the public. U-KISS member Dongho also debuted in 2008 when he was 15.
